Current Open Positions:
Associate Rector
The Associate will work closely with the Rector and alongside the Senior Associate Rector to lead our congregation.
The position is full-time and reports directly to the Rector. Newly ordained clergy are welcome to apply, with favor given to those with previous congregational experience.
We are Seeking Candidates Who Possess
- Abiding Christian faith and a love for the gospel
- Skills for teaching and preaching in a compelling way
- Confidence presiding in a high-church style (sung liturgy)
- Desire to be part of a large and energetic congregation
- Compassion, creativity, and a growth-mindset
Compensation
Compensation will be commensurate with skill and experience, with salary range beginning at $75,000. Additionally,
- Healthcare benefits will be offered according to the policies of the Episcopal Church and the Diocese of Dallas
- Four weeks paid vacation
- Two weeks paid continuing education time
- Paid parental leave in the event of birth or adoption of a child
- Standard contributions to the Church Pension Fund
- Annual professional expense allowance and continuing education allowance

Childcare Staff
Episcopal Church of the Transfiguration is in need of childcare staff; caregivers to work with nursery age (0-4 years) children.
We are Seeking Candidates Who Possess
- Love of Children
- Background in childcare
- At least 18 years old with their own transportation
- Current CPR/First Aid training encouraged
- Strong organizational/communication skills and ability to multitask
- Experience working in an effective team environment
- Must pass criminal background check and complete Safe Church Training
Responsibilities
- Ensure safety and well-being of children from infancy to 4 years of age while parents attend worship and other activities on campus.
- Model loving, compassionate behavior while introducing children to faith through age-appropriate materials and activities.
- Uphold nursery procedures to comply with the policies of the Episcopal Diocese of Dallas regarding Safeguarding. This includes safe play, sanitation, hygiene, discipline, and appropriate interaction with children.
Hours include
- Paid hours for training, including required "Safeguarding" training
- Sunday mornings 8:30am-12:30pm
- Special events throughout the year
Compensation
- $13-$16/hour
