Come Visit Us

At Episcopal Church of the Transfiguration, hospitality isn't just a greeting—it's a way of life, rooted in the love of Christ.

We know that visiting a new place, especially a church community, can be a bit intimidating. We hope the information on this page will help you feel at ease if you choose to visit. Whether you are a lifelong Episcopalian, a member of another faith tradition, or totally new to church, it is our goal to make sure you feel welcome and comfortable. Everyone here was once a stranger so we know what visiting a new place is like.

If you would like to speak to someone before you visit, know that you can contact me.

Why Folks Come and Stay

Many are drawn to Transfiguration by:

  • Our rich liturgical tradition and inspiring music
  • Growth and learning opportunities from well-known educators, theologians, and community leaders
  • Meaningful outreach and service to others
  • Vibrant children and youth ministries
  • The warmth of a truly inclusive community where you are not just welcome to visit but invited into fellowship.

People tell us they stay because they've found something deeper: A true sense of belonging, a loving community, friends.

What To Expect

If you come to one of our weekend services, you can expect to be greeted when you arrive. We don't put people on the spot as a visitor but we will do everything we can to help you feel comfortable. Our Greeters are there to help you find your way around.

Our 9:00am Sunday service is live-streamed so you can take a peak at what the Sunday services are like.

Following our Sunday services, there are refreshments and an opportunity to meet one another. We hope you will identify yourself to a member of the clergy or our other staff if you have not done so already. We really would like to get to know you.

The Table on Saturdays is casual and offers a completely different style of music than you will find on Sunday mornings. But, folks are just as friendly and welcoming. Following the service there is time to get to know one another.

Regardless of the service you attend, plan to arrive with enough time to say hello and let us help you find your way around.
