This is the second of a three-part formation series for Advent. Although we normally remember the Magi on the Feast of the Epiphany, this year we will journey with these learned Easterners toward Bethlehem during the season of Advent. The Magi from Matthew’s Gospel have been remembered through countless stories and works of art throughout the centuries. Join us for a panel discussion in which we will dive into works such as O. Henry’s short story “The Gift of the Magi,” T. S. Elliot’s poem “The Journey of the Magi,” and others. This class is designed to spark the imaginations of parishioners of all ages.

Class 2: Sunday, December 11 continued its focus on T.S. Elliot’s The Journey of the Magi and introduced O. Henry’s “The Gifts of the Magi” which will be the focus of next week’s class.
