Transfiguration is home to over 600 households, more than 40 unique ministries, and a staff of over 20 members. This year we'll conduct over 250 services in our nave and chapel and 500 more online. Every single day of the year our campus hosts some form of grace in action.
God's grace is marvelously free, but not the work of the Church. Parishioners of all ages give of their precious time, sacrifices of love measured in hours, not dollars. We would not be what we are without those countless gifts of time and effort.
There are also costs we can count, the expenses of a large, dynamic community. Payroll and insurance, air conditioning and IT.
In 2026 it will cost around $2.67 million to enable our grace in action.

You can see how our 400+ pledges of support in 2025 come in a variety of amounts. We are just as dependent on pledges below $5,000 as we are on larger gifts. What matters is not the amount of the gift, but that the amount is appropriate for your circumstances and demonstrates your gratitude to God.
You can see how Transfiguration puts all those funds to work. Each slice of the pie is an aspect of our church's life, and the amount includes everything that we spend in support (programming, salaries, facilities, administrative costs, etc.). Operations is our largest share, but then, without maintaining our campus and paying our utilities, we would have a much harder time doing all the other great work!
Here is an overview of how costs have increased since 2024, when we maintained a balanced budget. Over the course of three years, costs are anticipated to rise $540,000 with no additions to staffing.
