Solemn Evensong for Holy Cross Day & Reception
Join us as we honor our 60th anniversary as a parish with a 5:00 p.m. Evensong service in the church with incense followed by a festive reception in Roper Hall. The Evensong will feature music composed during each decade of the past 60 years sung by the Transfiguration Choir and congregation. The Rev. Jerry D. Godwin, third rector of Transfiguration, will be the preacher, and the Rev. R. Casey Shobe, Rector, and the Rev. Terrence C. Roper, Rector Emeritus, will lead the service. Childcare is provided.
