Last Sunday morning, there was a small electrical fire in the attic of Building E, which houses classrooms, the Library, and the Administrative Offices for Parish Episcopal School’s Lower Campus. Though it was quickly contained and fire damage was limited, the sprinkler system caused extensive water damage to the classrooms in that space. Transfiguration is pleased to work collaboratively with Parish to provide a limited interruption to the school year, and a familiar and comfortable environment for Parish students to learn. Over the next six weeks while the school restores the damaged spaces, Kindergarten classes are meeting in the Youth Center. Two second grade classrooms, as well as Spanish and Religion classes are utilizing rooms in the South Building, and the Parish Extend program has moved into the Niles Building. We are thankful for of the blessing of having so much space available, which allows for our continued partnership with the school. Please keep the students, teachers and staff in your prayers over the next month.
