The rite of Christian burial is an occasion to remember and give thanks for Christ's resurrection and to commend the souls of the faithful departed to God's loving care. Because Christ was raised, we too, shall be raised.

Transfiguration hosts funerals for parishioners and their family members, many of whom are interred in our Memorial Garden. If there is great pastoral need, the clergy may approve hosting the funeral of a non-member, as well.
