The Women’s Evening Book Group will meet at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 6 to discuss The Art Forger: A Novel by B. A. Shapiro, a thriller related to the 1990 art theft at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston. Claire Roth makes a bargain to forge one of the stolen paintings in exchange for a one-woman show at a gallery. This explores the art world as well as consequences of poor choices and authenticity in art and love. All women are welcome.
