You are invited to an informational meeting to learn more about a possible pilgrimage to Oberammergau, Germany, in 2020 in order to see the famed Passion Play. It has been performed by citizens of that city every decade for nearly 400 years, in fulfillment of a promise to God made by the city’s leaders during a particularly catastrophic outbreak of plague. It is a marvel of faithfulness by an entire community, and renowned for its beauty and power, and Fr. Casey is discerning whether there is enough interest to form a group to go sometime during its performance run. This meeting will be held twice (attend either): this morning at 10:15 in the Library and Wednesday, September 5, at 6:30 p.m. in the Parlor.
