Grieving the death of a loved one is deeply painful, uniquely personal, and has no timetable. Our new grief program “When Life Hurts: Finding Hope and Healing in a Time of Loss” is designed to connect grieving hearts to walk together to a place of hope and healing. This is meant for all who grieve the death of a loved one, whether that loss is recent or happened some time ago. Pastoral Assistant, the Rev. Nancy DeStefano, will facilitate groups of 12 participants. The program will meet on Thursdays beginning March 7 for eight weeks at either 10 a.m. or at 6:30 p.m. for 90 minutes each session. Participants will stay with one group for the entire program and it will be repeated again in the fall. To see if this workshop is right for you, please contact ndestefano@transfiguration.net.
