The 2019-2020 season of Transfigured Nights opens with a celebration of the 63rd Anniversary of the founding day of the Church of the Transfiguration – the Feast of the Holy Cross – on Sunday, September 15, at 5 p.m. in the church. The Transfiguration Choir will lead a Solemn Evensong featuring David Hogan’s “Washington” Magnificat and Nunc dimittis, as well as Gerre Hancock’s Preces and Responses. Incense will be used and a reception will follow in the Gathering Space.
