On Sunday, January 13 we are pleased to welcome the Rt. Rev. Wayne Smith to Transfiguration for the first time. Bishop Smith has been appointed Assisting Bishop in the Diocese of Dallas to oversee Transfiguration and the two other churches that have requested authorization to perform same-sex marriages. He will preside and preach at the 9:00 and 11:15 a.m. services, as well as baptize three new Christians.
