Join us for a Festive Eucharist on Ascension Day, Thursday, May 30, at 7:00 p.m. Luke and Acts tell the story of Jesus’ ascension into heaven 40 days after his resurrection, when the apostles witnessed his departure from them after weeks of encounters. The Ascension is part of the great Easter story, in which we celebrate Jesus’ dying, rising, and journey back to his seat at the right hand of his Father. Our worship will feature the Transfiguration Choir and incense.
