St. Hilda’s Guild

The St. Hilda’s Guild is one of the Transfiguration’s long-standing ministries. This group of dedicated women operates two vital ministries of Transfiguration, the Clothes Horse and the Kay Andrews Book Store. Profits from the St. Hilda’s Guild operations go toward support ministries of the parish. Both stores are run completely by volunteers and new helpers are always welcome. If you are able to give just a few hours one day a month, you’ll have the opportunity to make new friends and serve the parish. St. Hilda’s also hosts an annual luncheon and quarterly board meetings. Interested in volunteering? Contact Betsey Hardman (, Recruiting Chairman.

Women’s Forum

This group meets four times annually for luncheon and lecture programs. Join Women’s Forum in Roper Hall at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 9, as Liberty Ford presents “A Texan on Sacred Ground: Perspectives on Palestine.” Enjoy a box lunch ($10.00) and hear about Liberty’s fascinating and inspiring journey. Call Pat Tarpley at 972-412-1370 to make lunch reservations (required) by 12:00 p.m. on Monday, February 6, or by signing up at the table in the Gathering Space on preceding Sundays. If you miss the reservation deadline, you’re invited to brown-bag it and come to enjoy the program.
