The Women’s Evening Book Group will meet in the parlor at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 5 to discuss The Girl Who Wrote in Silk by Kelli Estes. A Chinese American woman living a hundred years ago and a young woman living in the present are unknowingly connected until a family story on a hidden embroidered sleeve is found in the Orcas Island house shared by both women and the truth begins to unfold. All women are welcomed.
