The Rev Scott GunnAll Adult Formation classes are invited to attend a special class in Roper Hall this Sunday, February 15 with our special guest, the Rev. Scott Gunn. Scott is an Episcopal priest and self-confessed technophile. He serves as the Executive Director of Forward Movement in Cincinnati, OH, whose historic mission is “to reinvigorate the life of the church.” Scott is also a Deputy to General Convention. Scott is happily married and the proud owner of a dog named George.

During the Christian Formation hour, on this final Sunday before Lent, Scott will explain the enormously fun and “saintly” bracket challenge Lent Madness. (After all, there’s no reason for a dreary Lenten discipline!) He will also introduce this year’s “Wednesdays in Lent” series on spiritual practices by discussing spiritual practices, why they important, and how we can grow our faith through them. Don’t miss this amazing opportunity to hear Scott speak in person. Scott will also serve as our guest preacher at the 9:00 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. services.
