Join us for a parish-wide Shrove Tuesday (aka Mardi Gras or Fat Tuesday) pancake supper in Roper Hall at 6:00 p.m. on February 9 as we mark the final night before Lent begins. Episcopal Men’s Fellowship (EMF) will provide the big, traditional meal for us to enjoy. Tickets are $5/each or $15/family. Part of the evening will include the ceremonial “Burying of the Alleluia” (we “bury” it as a symbol that we won’t proclaim this joyous word during the 40 days of Lent) and burning of the palm fronds.
