On November 3 and 4, 2018, we held Transfiguration’s annual parish elections for four new Vestry members and Diocesan Convention Delegates for 2019. The results are as follows (all in alphabetical order):
The Vestry slate of four, Robin Caldwell, Oliver Cone, Rosemary Luquire and Mason McCamey, was approved. These four new Vestry members will begin their three-year term in January 2019.
Next year’s Diocesan Convention Delegation will be led by Jim Kirkman and consist of George Banitch, Gene Bledsoe, Hal Bybee, Barbara Cody, and Elaine Sweet. The alternates are Oliver Cone, Tim Cutts, Linda Horton, Kipton Moravec, and Bart Stockton.
Thank you to everyone who voted! Special thanks is extended to the Nominating Committee, who spent time meeting with candidates, reviewing applications, and faithfully filling these vacancies for leadership in the church. The group was chaired by Sheila MacLennan and comprised of Laurel Brewster, Barbara Cody, Kristin Cutts, Barbara DeLizza, Alan Dunlop, Linda Horton, Nancy Jagmin, Peggy Kwoka, Stephen Kahl, Jim Kirkman, Christopher Ray, and Brooke Grona-Robb. If you are interested in participating on the Nominating Committee next year, it will begin its work in July 2019.
