SERVICE MINISTRIES Agape Ministry This group helps in recording the prayer requests and pastoral care issues written by parishioners in the pew registers every week. Boy Scout Troop #897 Meets Monday evenings. Flower Guild Members arrange flowers and decorate for holidays, social events and special services. Office Volunteers Opportunities for a variety of volunteer projects to support the work of the parish. St. Clare's Guild Meets to work on needlepoint projects for the church. St. Hilda's Guild - more info Operates the Clothes Horse resale shop and the Kay Andrews bookstore. Makes available reasonably priced clothing to the community and continuous donations of clothing to charity. Tape Ministry Sunday worship and most adult classes are available on cassette tape. Contact Deanie Winstel at 972-233-1898 ext. 223 for copies at $1.00 per tape. Printed copies of sermons are also available. Visitors' Calling Committee Parish callers contact all first time visitors by telephone to welcome them to the parish, offer assistance and answer questions. Welcoming Ministers Members provide a positive initial impression to visitors and guests by greeting all worshippers as they arrive at church and helping newcomers feel that they are welcome and are among friends. |
