Foyer Groups
Foyer is a French word meaning “hearthside” which implies the warmth of a close small group of friends or family sharing a common love and concern for each other. Foyer Groups offer a delightful way to meet others, or to renew friendships in a relaxed, fun and informal way. The groups are made up of 8 to 10 adults, both married and single, who meet once a month for conversation and dining together. Each month one couple, or single or group of singles becomes the “host” and decides on menu and format for their month. It is usually a dinner at home, but could be at a restaurant, or even a picnic in the park. Being creative is part of the fun. Every six months, the groups are shuffled and reformed to meet new members and renew more friendships.
