This series will focus on the theme of reconciliation. Each Wednesday evening through March 16, we will gather in the church at 6:00 p.m. for Holy Eucharist, followed by a light Lenten supper in Roper Hall at 6:45 and the speaker at 7:15. Childcare and programming for older children is provided (details below). Join us this Wednesday for our third Lenten Evening Program with the Rev. Dr. Wil Gafney, Associate Professor of Hebrew Bible at Brite Divinity School. Dr. Gafney will help us look at the ways that whiteness shapes our understanding of God and the Bible, and how recognizing this lens can become a foundation for racial reconciliation.
