The mission of the Episcopal Church of the Transfiguration is to seek
and to serve Christ in all persons.
By our Anglican heritage and
our community life, we strive to present Jesus Christ as Saviour through
worship, education, evangelism, pastoral care and outreach.
The mission of each member is to support this parish with time, talent,
money and be: · faithful in worship, · dedicated to the
study of scripture and to a life of prayer, · open to the power
of the Holy Spirit, and · active in spreading Christ's love and
reconciliation.

Be it resolved, that we reaffirm the historic associations of The Episcopal Church of the Transfiguration, Dallas, Texas with The Episcopal Church in the United States of America, and the Diocese of Dallas as long as the Diocese remains consistent with and in communion with The Episcopal Church in the United States of America. Furthermore, we pledge ourselves on behalf of our brothers and sisters in this congregation to do our prayerful and solemn best to maintain this association inviolate.
The Vestry of the Church of the Transfiguration meeting on April 18, 2005, affirmed the historic association of their parish with The Episcopal Church USA. The 2006 Vestry affirmed the resolution by asking that it be placed on the parish website. The supporting text for the resolution may be found in Parish Life.

Youth Cozumel Mission Trip
July 21-28
Will it be beautiful in Cozumel? Yes! Will it be awesome to share in Morning
Prayer as the sun rises over the waves of the Carribbean? Absolutely! Will
this be a vacation? NO WAY! We're sending our J2A and YAC youth to
Mexico to work hard – not for other people, but for the environment. In the
midst of one of the most beautiful places in God's creation, we'll do what we
can to care for the environment by working with organizations that care for
animals, our ecosystem and endangered species. If you'd like to sponsor us
in helping baby sea turtles return safely to the oceans or in building new facilities
so that Cozumel Islanders can better care for God's creatures, we'd love
your support! For more information, contact Mike Baughman.

household to be included in the directory, with their most current contact
