Sunday, August 7, 2022 (10:00 a.m. – 11:15 a.m.)
Parishioners can eat their fill while supporting their favorite Fig bakers and Aunt Bette’s Community Pantry (part of St. Philip’s School & Community Center).
Tickets will be sold at the door.
Aunt Bette’s Community Pantry is the result of a collaboration between St. Philip’s, North Texas Food Bank, In the City for Good, and the City of Dallas to revolutionize the way hunger is addressed in South Dallas. The food pantry operates as a client-choice pantry, much like a grocery store, and currently serves around 2,000+ individuals and 850+ families. It also provides a social service component through services such as senior citizen transportation, extensive preventive healthcare, and we offer transformative knowledge that will help our neighbors understand the importance of making better decisions overall. Aunt Bette’s Community Pantry has been one of our Outreach partners for many years and we are thankful that we can continue to support them with your help.
