Have you ever wondered why we do what we do in worship? Have you ever wondered why we bow, or make the sign of the cross, or pray certain things at certain times? The experience of holiness of worship is deeply enriched when we have a better understanding of what’s happening and what it means, so at our three weekend services, August 20-21, we will conduct an “Instructed Eucharist.” In lieu of a sermon, we will narrate the action from start to finish and try to address questions you may have silently asked yourself for years. A “Q/A” will follow each service in the church, so you can follow up and learn even more.
