EPISCOPAL MEN’S FELLOWSHIP
The Episcopal Men’s Fellowship (EMF) actively pursues Christian fellowship and service to the parish and community through monthly meetings, outings and community projects. They meet monthly (typically on the third Thursday evening at 6:30) for dinner and listen to a guest speaker. In addition, they also attend sporting events throughout the year. Membership is informal, and open to all adult men of the parish, 18 years and older. A highlight event of the program year is the Fish Fry & Silent Auction held in early June. The men participate in a fishing trip a few weekends prior to the event, and then give the proceeds from the auction as grants to ministries within the parish.
Grant Request Process – Open through August 31
The annual grant process by the Episcopal Men’s Fellowship to ministries within the church is now open. A sub-committee of EMF consisting of Alan Dunlop, John MacLennan, Jack Skelton, and Jim Kirkman will determine how the funds raised from the 2017 Silent Auction will be disbursed. Any church ministry interested in requesting funds should complete the form below and return it to Jim Kirkman at email@example.com
by August 31. The Disbursement Committee will meet the first week in September and present our proposed allocations to the EMF Board at our September 7, 2017 Board Meeting for their approval. The EMF Board would like to thank all of the parishioners that contributed to and/or attended the Silent Auction and Fish Fry for making this year’s event the most successful we have ever had.
