The mission of the Adult Education program is to provide opportunities for the Holy Spirit to transform adults – through study, prayer and fellowship – to better seek and serve Christ in all persons. Classes are offered Sunday mornings during the school year, Wednesday evenings during the weeks of Lent and at other times during the year. The regular Sunday schedule has classes in Bible, theology, spirituality and other appropriate topics. The classes are taught by members of the Christian Education Team.

Disciple Bible Study
This bible study seeks to go further and to lead us to our own interpretation. Daily reading assignments prepare participants for group discussion in this nine-week series. A video component provides interpretation and context for the biblical texts.
Gospel Take-out
This is a class for newcomers as well as long-time members! We will spend time reflecting on the Gospel lesson of the day and getting to know each other in an informal atmosphere of sharing our stories as they pertain to the Gospel, while listening for relevance to take away with us and use during the coming week.
iParent – more info
Connect with a community of traditional and non-traditional parents in the midst of raising young kids in today’s information age. Worship, learn, share and grow together as we navigate and understand our roles as parents. Weekly Sunday morning format includes a rotation of iParent and Clergy led topics, breakfasts, open chat time and special guest speakers. In addition, several parent-centered social gatherings will be planned throughout the year. Contact Melinda Wedding for more information.

Bring the companionship of other women into your busy life as a mother! Enjoy this opportunity to develop your self-esteem and enhance your relationship skills in the company of other mothers.Take a few hours each week to develop a greater awareness of your own spirituality as a mother, and to appreciate the ministry of your motherhood! Groups are formed throughout the year.
Rector’s Lenten Series On Wednesday nights during Lent, join us for the Holy Eucharist at 6:00 p.m. in the Church, followed by a light supper and program (topic to be determined).
The Way
(The Catechumenate Program for Adult Baptism and Confirmation) Are you in one of these categories?
- An adult who has not been baptized
- A baptized adult who has not been confirmed or received into the Episcopal Church.
- A confirmed adult who wishs to deepen their commitment to Christian believing and practice.
If so, then this series is for you.
Stage One: Inquiry. Seven weeks in a program called Connect? What it means to be part of a Eucharistic Community. It explores how Episcopalians approach the Bible, Worship, Prayer, Ministry, and Church membership. By taking part in Stage One you will not have committed yourself to continue. Instead you will be invited to consider continuing on the journey, which will enrich your life and deepen your knowledge of the Christian traditions of the Episcopal Church.
Stage Two: Formation. Twelve weeks learning how Episcopalians are called to live into their commitment to God and God’s Church. We use a program called Commit? What it would mean to live more deeply into our Baptismal Covenant.
Stage Three: Preparation. Five Wednesday evenings in Lent preparing for the Rite of Christian Initiation, (Baptism), and/or the Rite of Confirmation/Reception.
Women’s Book Club
Open to all women, and you do not have to read the book to attend a session. Meetings are the first Thursday of each month, with a Lenten Book Study during Lent. View the 2009-2010 Reading List (pdf).
