Foyer Groups
Formed Every Six Months | Contact Margot Thibodeau to join a group at mhthibdeau@att.net
Foyer Groups offer a delightful way to meet others, or to renew friendships in a relaxed, fun and informal way. The groups are made up of 8-10 adults (married and single) who meet for conversation and dining together. Everyone takes a turn as “host” and decides on menu and format for their month. Usually it’s dinner at home, but could be at a restaurant, or even a picnic in the park. Being creative is part of the fun. Groups are shuffled and reformed every six months.
Foyer Groups for 2017 launch on February 12! If you’re interested in participating, please sign up in the Gathering Space the next two weekends or contact Margot Thibodeau at mhthibdeau@att.net. Participants will gather on Sunday, February 12 at 4:00 p.m. in the Parlor to meet assigned group members and plan the dinner schedule for the spring together.
St. Elizabeth’s Guild
Meets monthly on the 2nd Thursday | 6:30 p.m. | Roper Hall
The mission of St. Elizabeth’s Guild is to nurture and strengthen our parish community by bringing people together for fellowship in an atmosphere that supports Transfiguration’s mission of “Seeking and Serving Christ in All Persons.” They accomplish this by holding monthly dinners for Guild members, new parish members and guests to share a meal, get to know each other and develop friendships.
