“Doubt”
March 19-21
The Fig Theatre Company and the Vision Forum are proud to present the play “Doubt” on March 19-21, 2010. “There is no evidence. There are no witnesses. But for one, there is no doubt.” Set in 1964 in Bronx, NY, the plot centers on a nun who confronts a priest after suspecting him of abusing an African American student. He denies the charges, and much of the play’s quick-fire dialogue tackles themes of religion, morality and authority. Credits – Photo by Brad Nettles, the Post and Courier, Jan. 2009. Pictures Katherine Chaney, as Sister James, and Libby Campbell, as Sister Aloysius, as they perform in a scene from the Village Playhouse’s “Doubt”. Purchase tickets online:

Episcopal Relief and Development Fund
Relief efforts continue in Haiti after the 7.0-magnitude earthquake hit on Jan. 12. Despite the efforts of international aid organizations, food, water and other critical resources are still greatly needed by many residents of Port-au-Prince and other parts of the country. To assist those suffering in the wake of this disaster, please consider making a donation through Transfiguration to the Episcopal Relief & Development’s Haiti fund. Episcopal Relief & Development is the international relief and development agency of the Episcopal Church of the United States and an independent 501(c)(3) organization. They rebuild after disasters and empower people by offering lasting solutions that fight poverty, hunger and disease, including HIV/AIDS and malaria.
