The Clothes Horse is a resale shop that has been in business since 1961. It provides the community with a place to donate gently worn clothing and offers budget-minded customers a source of reasonably priced, good quality apparel. Run by a group of approximately 80 volunteers, the Clothes Horse is located down the hill by the Youth Center and is open Tuesday -Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Clothing donations are accepted at any time the shop is open. No donation ever goes to waste. Items that remain unsold are channeled to a variety of charitable organizations such as the Austin Street Shelter, Collin County Children’s Advocacy Center, Salvation Army, Kidney Foundation and Paralyzed Veterans, among others.
