Folk Like Me

Join us for the final session in the eight-week Adult Forum series on the saints and sainthood at 10:15 a.m. in Roper Hall. We will consider the life of Martin Luther King, Jr., whose leadership of the Civil Rights movement flowed from his deep, abiding Christian faith. We will also draw some conclusions about how the seven saints we’ve studied can inspire our own efforts toward righteousness and faithfulness, and how each of us are called to be God’s saints today.

Special Children’s Formation Movie Day
This Sunday from 10:15-11:00 a.m. all Kindergarten through 5th grade Sunday School students are invited upstairs to the Children’s Gathering room to enjoy a special holiday movie.

2015 Christian Formation Classes
Children and Youth Sunday School is on break until January 11, 2015 when classes will resume as normal. Sunday School for adults will also resume on January 11. A full schedule of offerings will be distributed by January 4. We hope that the high attendance at the class on saints will extend to the new year, and everyone will make Christian education a regular part of their Sunday Transfiguration experience! Youth Crossover and Credo will resume after the holidays also.
