In anticipation of All Saints and All Souls Days, when the Church remembers the great cloud of witnesses who have gone ahead us in death, you are invited to share the names of those you know who’ve died in the past year for inclusion in the Book of Remembrance. Please send their names to Nancy DeStefano, after which they will be physically inscribed in the book. This year has been an especially difficult year of grief, as we have been unable to gather for funerals or support one another in typical ways. We also grieve the 223,000 who have died so far from the pandemic, a truly staggering number. It is essential that we rally in prayer, asking God to pour out continued mercy upon those who we love but see no longer, and also all of us who continue our work on earth.
