During the season of Easter, we will be offering two online adult formation opportunities, one on forgiveness and the other on the resurrection in the Gospels. Below you can find descriptions of each class. RSVP is required.

Study of Resurrection Appearances

Wednesday, April 29 – Wednesday, May 20 | 7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. via Zoom.

The stories of the resurrected Jesus are profound, inspiring, and mysterious. Jesus appears to his followers and they don’t recognize him. He still carries his wounds, yet he is entirely new. And he appears and disappears in ways he never could before. On four consecutive Wednesday evenings from 7:00-8:00 p.m., beginning April 29, Fr. Casey will lead a study of resurrection appearances in the gospels, pointing out particular elements that have power for us at this particularly difficult moment in our world and in our lives. Register for the class in Realm.

Forgiveness and Reconciliation

Sunday, April 26 – Sunday, May 17 | 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. via Zoom.

Forgiveness is at the center of our lives as Christians; it is central to our relationship with God and our relationship with others. “Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us,” Jesus taught us to pray. During this season of Eastertide, we celebrate God’s forgiveness of us. At the same time, we’re aware that extending that same forgiveness to others can be hard. In this four-week class, we will explore the language of forgiveness in the church and the wider culture, reflect on practical ways to seek and grant forgiveness, and differentiate between forgiveness and reconciliation. Join Mother Rebecca, Pastor Nancy, and parishioner Lee Taft on Sunday mornings from 10-11 am, beginning April 26. Register for the class in Realm.
