Advent Festival & Alternative Gift Market
This year we will combine our annual Advent Festival and Alternative Gift Market on the weekend before Thanksgiving. Join us in Roper Hall and the Gathering Space at 10:15 a.m. on Sunday, November 20 to prepare for the Advent season with activities for all ages and to support vendors from local charities with unique gifts hand-made by people around the world.
Advent Festival Outreach: Our Friends Place
Our Friends Place is a not-for-profit organization that provides supportive and transitional living resources for young women, ages 18-24, who are struggle with neglect, abuse, poverty or homelessness. At the Advent Festival we will stuff Christmas stockings for these young women. Please help us collect bath, dental hygiene, and haircare items, Walmart or Target giftcards, or large stockings, by dropping items off in the box located in the Gathering Space.
