Using twelve selected Psalms, from Eugene Peterson’s Psalms – Prayers of the Heart, Peterson shows us how the Psalms are both poetry and prayer. Each week the class will read and study two Psalms and then come together in class to share in group discussion, guided by the questions and exercises outlined in the book. The first class will be September 6 from 2:00 – 3:30 p.m. in the Vestry Room. Books are available in the bookstore; the first assignment is to read the first two psalms and answer the reflection questions. All women are welcome – no registration required.
