On behalf of the Vestry, I write in appreciation for all who attended and participated in Casey’s Celebration of New Ministry last Saturday. Special recognition goes out to David Diggs, Carolyn Lewis and the entire Flower Guild for the beautiful displays, the countless hours spent by the reception committee led by Bridget de Bruyn and Frances Martin, wonderful liturgy and music arranged by Father Merriman, Ted Clarkson, and Joel Martinson, as well as Anne Schmidt’s coordination of these efforts on behalf of the Vestry and for Casey. What a wonderful and historic day we experienced – one made possible by the support, love and dedication each of you showed to Transfiguration, to Casey and his family, and to his new ministry among us at Transfiguration.
