Mark your calendars to participate in our upcoming Summer Food Drive! Transfiguration will collect food donations for two agencies this summer: Austin Street Shelter and Crossroads Community Services. CCS’s primary goal is to reduce food insecurity without contributing to obesity for the populations we serve in Dallas County. Austin Street Center is a compassionate, faith-based organization that provides emergency shelter and services to homeless men and women in Dallas. Grocery bags with lists will be handed out following services on July 27 and August 3. We ask you to purchase only what is on the lists. Then bring the full bags back to the Fig on Sunday, August 10, and put them on the stage in Roper Hall. Thank you in advance for your support!
