Transfiguration Easter decorationsAs Christ-followers, you and I know the rest of the story. The only thing constant in life is not change, but God. As we face change, we must remember and take comfort in our faith, especially in light of the fast-approaching Easter feast. Yes, we understand that it would seem that the last change we face is death. But as we grapple with this inevitability, we know the promise that lies beyond death, the great gift of resurrection. God, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ, promises us new and unending life. We will be with the Lord, and that will be the best change that we can possibly experience. As we approach Holy Week and Easter, may the great good news of resurrection-change give you hope to face change! – Father Fred Barber
